Chinese Music Classics of 20th Century – V/VI: Chamber, Concerto, National Orchestra

Once the list was published, the Central Conservatory of Music was commissioned to collect information for later text, sound publication. Then the first published plan was on the “People’s Daily” overseas edition. On June 5 1993 in Beijing, the official awarding ceremony was held at the Great Hall of the People. Representative works from Mainland China, Hongkong, Taiwan were performed at the opening ceremony.

ChinaBlog.cc: My First Year of Blogging

Fruit flies like a banana, time flies like an arrow. A year ago, on Jan 7th, 2009, ChinaBlog.cc came online. I’d like to make an annual review here and share some thought about my experience of authoring this blog.

I still haven’t achieved amazing traffic or readership, but at least I have successfully posted continuously for a year, I haven’t abandoned this blog and am making progress. That’s good enough!

Taroko Gorge, located in downstream of Liwu Creek, near the entrance of the Central Cross-Island Highway. Taroko Gorge in eastern Taiwan is one of the most famous scenic mountain resorts. Taroko means “great mountains” in native language. As Liwu Creek water erosion constantly cuts through the uplift crust, the marble rock is exposed, thus forming the steep Taroko Gorge landscapes. 20 km-long Taroko Gorge is the world’s largest marble canyon.
