It’s bad when one deceives others; it’s stupid that one only fooled oneself when he tried to fool others. Lots of occasions in our everyday life, some people try to deceive others or disguise something by telling themselves the thing does not exist. And of cause, it could only fool themselves.

China has 6536 islands that are over 500 square meters in area, contributing to a total land territory of over 72,800 square kilometers and a total island coastline of 14,217.8 km. 450 of these islands are inhabited. Most China’s islands are small islands, uninhabited, and lack of fresh water.

Weeks ago in the previous post of this “Forbidden Treasure” series, I introduced a pair of lacquer clogs from Zhu Ran Tomb of Three Kingdom Period. Today, I am going to show you another “Forbidden Treasure” from the same tomb: A lacquer plate with a painting of noble life.
Tomb of Zhu Ran was discovered in Jun, 1984. It has been hidden underground for more than 1,700 years. Although this tomb has been raided before, there are still 140+ pieces of burial objects left, most of which are lacquered wood objects.
