Fruit flies like a banana, time flies like an arrow. A year ago, on Jan 7th, 2009, ChinaBlog.cc came online. I’d like to make an annual review here and share some thought about my experience of authoring this blog.
I still haven’t achieved amazing traffic or readership, but at least I have successfully posted continuously for a year, I haven’t abandoned this blog and am making progress. That’s good enough!
During the 29th Olympic Games held in Beijing in summer 2008, Chinese government had also organized lots of exhibitions, trying to introduce more about China to athletes and tourists from all over the world. Among these exhibitions, traditional Chinese art had taken an important part.
Obviously, visitors were all astonished by the huge diversity and artistic delicacy of Chinese traditional art. They experienced a deep impression of oriental culture from them. So somebody summed up a list of top 10 Chinese traditional arts that foreigners like most.

Spanning over a vast territory of 9.6 million square kilometers, carrying 1.3 billion people of 56 ancient ethnic groups, China has weaved a series of colorful pictures of different Chinese residential houses: some live in bamboo lofts, some set home above water, some pack their houses on horseback, some enjoy the generous gift of Mother Nature in Yaodong caves…

Six month ago, on Jan 7th, ChinaBlog.cc came online. I’d like to make a review here and share some thought about my experience of authoring this blog.
1. Posts: I posted 61 posts and 9 pages in these six months as of 07/04/2009. They received 52 comments in total.
2. Visitors and pageviews: In June, Chinablog.cc had 986 visitors and 1686 pageviews. According to a technorati survey, I have median level visitors, but less than median level PVs.
